This is my final senior thesis for this semester entitled “Bogue.” It is a series of three commercials that contain the audio from vintage commercials. I modernized them by using the modern technique of motion graphics and added a satire feel to them.
I chose to name this piece “Bogue” because it is a word that was used in the 1960’s and 1970’s (which is the time period that the audios are from) meaning something offensive or unrealistic.
This is my section of the project that my group and I are working on for Media Forge. This project is a series of 3 videos (for clients at Alfred University) that will be shown to students in order to help them understand the learning process better. My group & I did the voiceover recording, came up with a color palette and design for the piece, made all of the assets and are each animating different sections in After Effects.

While working on resumes in Portfolio, I decided to make a creative resume that will show my graphic design skills, since that is the type of job I’m going to be looking for.
For my Media Forge class, I am the head of a project that we started last semester, which is a motion graphics/live action piece for a client at Alfred University. The first task that I gave my group was to make mood boards showing how they feel this piece should look and feel. Below is the mood board that I made.
After we looked at everyone’s mood boards, we chose things that we liked from certain mood boards and I combined them into one mood board, which is shown below.
